Yacht Charter Itinerary Biograd Day 7

Sali - Biograd

The “white city by the sea” Biograd na Moru is located between Zadar and Vodice on the coast of the Dalmatia region. The two large marinas of Biograd are popular ports of departure for all boat and yacht owners for sailing holidays into the island labyrinth of the Kornati islands.

Wonderful beaches and bays await bathers in Biograd. Especially the gently sloping pebble beach Drazice and the adjacent sandy beach Soline are very popular with families with children. While active holidaymakers can pursue numerous sports on the beaches of Biograd, there are varied leisure activities, animation programmes and of course the large water slide on Drazica Beach for hours of fun on the beach. Boredom is guaranteed not to arise on your beach days.

While during the day life mainly takes place on the beach and the harbour promenade of Biograd, in the evening the hustle and bustle shifts to the promenade on the edge of the old town. Numerous restaurants, taverns invite you to enjoy the specialties of Dalmatian cuisine. Freshly caught fish, seafood or hearty meat dishes from the grill are recommended as the main course.

You can end the evening with a romantic stroll along the bank and beach promenade or through the small, winding streets of the old town. Or maybe you’d like to venture into Biograd’s exciting nightlife. In addition to the many different events with live music during the Biograd cultural summer, bars, clubs and taverns are particularly attractive.

Sailing, diving and active holidays – the possibilities in Biograd and along the Biogradska Riviera are as varied as they are unique. Discover one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in Croatia – Biograd, the heart of the Adriatic.

A little further south-east of Drazica, the sand of Soline beach slopes gently into the azure blue sea. The beach is also equipped with showers, changing rooms and toilets.

Soline Beach

About 3 km from the centre of Biograd you will find the beautiful sandy beach Crvena luka. Trees provide shade in the bay, which you can reach with a rented canoe (Soline or Drazica beach).

COVID RESPONSE

Stringent cleaning procedures are already in-place across all boats globally for the well-being of our crew and guests.  These will be further enhanced to meet government guidelines in the UK and Italy which are in place in July 2021 in relation to the COVID pandemic.  These will include temperature checks prior to boarding; hand-sanitising stations in public areas; additional deep cleans of public areas including decks; social distancing if required.  With each catamaran’s capacity at a maximum of 10 people including skipper and chef, if required in August, guests would remain in catamaran bubbles during visits to vineyards and other on-shore activities.
