Day 1: Kos to Kalymnos

Kalymnos has so much to offer, spectacular scenery, beautiful beaches, wonderful food and amazing people, whose hospitality is second to none. The old Chora is the area around the castle in Pothia which was the old capital of the island in the days when pirates roamed the Aegean. There are two important museums: The Archaeological Museum and the Nautical Museum which both contain artefacts from ancient times as well as exhibits that highlight the more modern history of the sponge divers.

Day 2: Kalymnos to Leros

Leros is a mythical island. According to the myth, Leros island was where the ancient Greek goddess of hunting, Artemis, used to go for hunting, thanks to the island’s large deer population.

But Leros doesn’t only have a mythological past, but also a historical one. Leros’ enduring history is reflected in monuments such as the impressive Medieval castle and hides inside the island’s museums.

Day 3: Leros to Lipsi

Lipsi’s beaches are the highlights of the island. Most of them are unorganised, boasting a raw natural landscape and laid-back atmosphere. All of them have mesmerising crystal clear waters, ideal for swimming. Some of the beaches of Lipsi can be accessed on foot from the main town through hiking paths.

Lipsi

Day 4: Lipsi to Arki

Tiganakia in the south of the island is the most beautiful beach to be found here. It is situated in a sheltered bay and surrounded by rocks. Other beaches are Limnari, Padelia and Kapsaliasmenos which are in the east of the island. Besides these beaches there are also many small but charming bays. The beach of Tiganakia is set in a cove and separated into three parts by rocks. It is a mixed pebble and sand beach. Some people swim to the nearby small islands across the bay. Arki promises totally private adventures.

Arki

Day 5: Arki to Patmos

According to tradition, St John was inspired to write the Book of the Apocalypse inside a cave in Patmos. Today, the so-called “Cave of the Apocalypse” is one of the island’s main attractions. There’s also a large monastery dedicated to St John. Thousands of pilgrims come to Patmos island every year to visit these two religious monuments.

Due to its spiritual character, the island plays host to many religious festivals and feasts, which are a perfect opportunity for travellers to introduce themselves to the tradition and history of Patmos.

Patmos

Day 6: Patmos to Levitha

Levitha is not the most obvious choice for anyone visiting Greece. It doesn’t have the party lifestyle of Crete, it’s not as geared-up for tourists as Rhodes, and it lacks some of the distinctive elegance that draws so many to Santorini. Levitha is small, relatively uninhabited, and there are no hotels, resorts, water parks, horse riding schools, or car rentals to greet you.

However, Levitha has something that few other Greek islands have, something that every tourist can appreciate and that no one will forget in a hurry. Levitha has charm—it’s a modest island inhabited by a single family that operates more like a large family estate than a Greek island.

Levitha

Day 7: Levitha to Kos

Geographically located between Kalymnos and Nisyros, Kos has a rich history, influenced by many cultures. Therefore, sightseeing in Kos is more than enjoyable… Asklepion, the holistic medical center of Hippocrates, Neratzia medieval Castle and Antimachia Castle are some of the best historical monuments to visit.

COVID RESPONSE

Stringent cleaning procedures are already in-place across all boats globally for the well-being of our crew and guests.  These will be further enhanced to meet government guidelines in the UK and Italy which are in place in July 2021 in relation to the COVID pandemic.  These will include temperature checks prior to boarding; hand-sanitising stations in public areas; additional deep cleans of public areas including decks; social distancing if required.  With each catamaran’s capacity at a maximum of 10 people including skipper and chef, if required in August, guests would remain in catamaran bubbles during visits to vineyards and other on-shore activities.
