The Catamarans
On a sailing holiday, one of the main factors for the enjoyment of your trip is going to be the yacht you’re on board. And we definitely think we’ve chosen the best.
The new, modern, luxury catamarans we use are state-of-the-art, French-built Lagoons, which combine elegance and design with a host of creature comforts. All are air-conditioned, for example, with generators for power.
On board all of our catamarans, expect amenities such as luxury bed linen & pillow selection, fluffy bath and beach towels, bathrobes and bathroom amenities by luxury Sicilian brand Ortigia. And we haven’t forgotten things like hair dryers, wifi and Illy coffee machines for that all-important first cappuccino of the day up on deck.
Your skipper is there to make sure all runs smoothly and do the hard work – don’t worry, you’re not expected to do the washing up or cleaning when you’re with us! But feel free to have a go at steering under their supervision if you’ve always wanted a go at the helm or if you’re a seasoned sailor.
Your steward-chef will welcome you aboard with English Sparkling Wine or perhaps a NIO Aeolian cocktail specially mixed for SailSterling. They will shop for fresh local produce in island markets to create fabulous Sicilian-inspired dishes such as warm octopus and potato salad, buffalo mozzarella and the juiciest cherry tomatoes you’ll ever taste flavoured with fresh basil, followed by home-made fruit tiramisu. Of course, let us know any food preferences or allergies in advance and we’ll do our very best to create a delicious menu to meet your requirements.
